Operation FireH.E.A.T.

Early Christmas morning, Carlos and Grisel DeLeon returned home to find their house on fire.  The DeLeon's 20 year old daughter Leli, 15 year old Justin and 15 month old granddaughter Evieleas live with them.  Luckily, none of the children were home at the time of the fire but their house was a total loss and, sadly, they also lost their two beloved pets.

Justin is an A/B student and wants to be a firefighter.  He is in a photography class at school, but the camera he had just bought for the class was destroyed in the fire.  Thanks to the efforts of many, we were able to replace his camera and give Evieleas a bunch of new clothes, diapers and wipes.  Leli was overwhelmed and broke down when we gave her the clothing for her daughter.  We were also able to give the family a $100 Target gift card.  E54 was there with us and gave Justin a great close up tour of the engine and all the equipment carried.  Justin was stoked!  Another great success story.
