Operation FireH.E.A.T.

On Christmas night, the June family suffered a fire that totaled their garage and two vehicles.  The fire was contained to the garage, but the rest of house, along with their Christmas presents, sustained heavy smoke damage.  Nekia has four children:  11 year old Jeremiah, 10 year old Shamiah, 8 year old Rosemarie and 7 year old Apryl.

Thanks to many, we were able to provide Christmas to the children.  Jeremiah wasn't there for the delivery, but the three daughters were.  The fire occurred in station 43's area but the family was staying with relatives in station 20's area.  Thanks to Chiefs Pitts (LVFR) and Session (CCFD) we were able to have both R43 and E20 assist with the delivery.  Thanks also goes out to Capt Lemmon and his crew for joining us on the delivery even though they weren't on this fire, and for the box of toys they brought for the children.  Thank you Buddy for the bag of toys and clothes and thank you Jackie Knight for the box of DVDs.  This was another success!
