Martinez Family (2011 Season)

Friday, December 16, 2011, the Martinez family suffered a catastrophic fire and lost almost evertything they owen. Jose and Mary have their 14 year old son, Dominic, and their two grandchilren, 4 year old Tara and 1 year Gage staying there. On Chrismtas morning, with the help of the Henderson Firefighters Benevolent Association, Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation and firefighters from the Henderson Fire Department, we are going to deliver Christmas to them.

Fernandez Family (2011 Season)

Saturday, December 3, 2011, the Fernandez family suffered a catastrophic fire and lost almost everything they own. Juan and Michelle have three children: 7 year old Brianna, 9 year old Kevin, and 15 year old Josh, who has cerebral palsy. The Fernandez had done their Christmas during black Friday and had the children's presents hidden in the attic. The fire consumed their presents. On Friday, along with the assistance of Las Vegas Fire & Rescue and Clark County firefighters, we are going to deliver Christmas to them.

Harris Family (2011 Season)

Thursday, December 15, 2011, Antonio Harris and his fiancee, Romalisha North, had a catastrophic fire. Antonio has two chilren, 4 year old Trenton and 3 year old Tristina. Antonio and Romalisha are currently unemployed and the few things they were able to get Trenton and Tristina for Christmas were lost in the fire. On Wednesday, with the help of North Las Vegas firefighters, we are going to deliver Christmas to Trenton and Tristina. Please check back for pictures.

 
Cawthern Family (2011 Season)

Sunday, December 4, 2011, Trevor and Ashleigh Cawthern lost everything they own in tragic fire. The newlyweds have a 4 month old son, Logan. Today, we gave them some formula, diapers, wipes, a stroller, car seat, and walker bounce toy.

 
Gire Family (2010 Season)

Sunday, January 16, 2011, Bobby Gire and his girlfriend, Lisa, suffered a fire that damaged almost everything, including their Christmas presents for 12 year old Maverick and 1 year old Nyla. This delivery was special for us because Maverick is a hero as he saved the life of his sister, Nyla

Wednesday, January 11, 2011, the Dalley family had a fire that damaged almost everything they owned. The Dalley family is a family of seven, which includes Brian and Kristi, and their five children: 11 year old Will, 7 year old Caleb, 5 year old Elise, 3 year old James, and 18 month old Emma.

Ottenson Family (2010 Season)

On January 12, 2011, the Otteson family in Tonopah, NV lost everything in a fire.  Operation FireH.E.A.T. normally covers the Las Vegas valley and surrounding communities so this was a little far for us but this was a special family.  The Otteson's are family to a LVFR firefighter; therefore they are in our extended fire family.  As this was so far and we are not set up with Tonopah Fire Department to do our normal toy delivery, we are proud to assist them by giving them some of our VISA debit cards.

 
Velazquez Family (2010 Season)

Sunday, January 2, 2011, the Velazquez family had a fire that damaged almost everything they owned. The Velazquez family is a family of eight, which includes of Manuela and four children: 8 year old Mayra, 9 year old Janet, 11 year old Raul and 13 year old Alejandra.

Wednesday, December 22, 2010, the Toliver family had a fire that damaged almost everything they owned. The Toliver family includes Mary and Diontary, their 18 year old daughter Ashlee and 10 year old Dionte.

Lightfoot Family (2010)

Friday, December 10, 2010, the Lightfoot's suffered a kitchen fire that destroyed everything in the kitchen and family room. The rest of the apartment had extensive heat and smoke damage. This was one after Veronica was released from the hospital for having surgery. The apartment is shared by Veronica Lightfoot and her husband. They also have their 10 year old grandson, Elmore Newbury living there.

Ramiscal Family (2010)

Monday, December 13, 2010, the Ramiscal family had a fire that damaged almost everything they owned. Jennifer and her three children, 15 year old Jacquie, 17 year old Jessica and 19 year old Ryan live there. Jennifer's mother, Alice, and brother, Jason, also live there.

Monaco Shores Fire (2009)

In the early morning on January 31, 2009, a fire broke out on Monaco Shores Dr damaging the entire house. Owners Mo and Trang lived here with their two children, 8 year old Andrew and 5 year old Nicky. The fire destroyed the children's Christmas presents. This is where we were able to step in and assist.

DeLeon Family (2009)

Early Christmas morning, Carlos and Grisel DeLeon returned home to find their house on fire.  The DeLeon's 20 year old daughter Leli, 15 year old Justin and 15 month old granddaughter Evieleas live with them.  Luckily, none of the children were home at the time of the fire but their house was a total loss and, sadly, they also lost their two beloved pets.

June Family (2009)

On Christmas night, the June family suffered a fire that totaled their garage and two vehicles.  The fire was contained to the garage, but the rest of house, along with their Christmas presents, sustained heavy smoke damage.  Nekia has four children:  11 year old Jeremiah, 10 year old Shamiah, 8 year old Rosemarie and 7 year old Apryl.

Rainwalk Apartments (2009)

On the morning of Wednesday, December 23, 2009, many buildings of the Rainwalk Apartments caught fire.  When we went to the apartments to see how we could help, we were delighted to see one-half of the complex office already had toys donated from the Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation for the children.  The was also a room full of clothes, a hallway full of shoes, a studio apartment getting filled with household supplies, and person after person coming in dropping off more and more supplies.  We have to say, the community stepped up tremendously to assist these families!  It was incredible!

Suarez Family (2009)

Saturday December 19, 2009.  The Suarez family was getting ready for bed when someone started banging on their door.  They answered the door to discover a quickly moving fire.  The family was able to get out safely but within moments their garage and two cars were fully engulfed.  The fire moved so fast that it quickly destroyed the home and most everything they owned.  Rigo and Alejandro Suarez lived here with their three children:  Rigo, their 15 year old son, Carmen, their 11 year old daughter and Sergio, their 6 month old son.

Garnett Family (2009)

Early Wednesday morning on November 4, 2009, Brian was asleep on the couch and awoke to find his kitchen on fire.  His girlfriend, Jonee, and their two daughters, 3 year old Taneesa and 5 year old Daysa, were trapped in their bedrooms.  As Brian attempted to put the fire out, Jonee was forced to toss their daughters from the second story window of their apartment into the arms of a complete stranger and then climb down herself.  The fire was too large for Brian to handle and he was quickly overcome by smoke and collapsed.

Adams/Harris Family (2008)

Early Saturday morning on December 27, 2008, Jimmeka Harris and Leearl Adams became victims of a catastrophic fire that destroyed everything they owned.  They have two children:  Damani, their three year old son and Magyk, their two month old son.

McKissick Family (2008)

The McKissick family was the first family we were able to assist.  On Monday, December 22, 2008, Eric McKissick, his 8 year old daughter, Erika, and his 11 year old son, Ezekial, were displaced after a Christmas tree fire destroyed their living room.  The heat and smoke extensively damaged the rest of their house.  As the fire started with the Christmas tree, obviously, all of their Christmas presents were destroyed.  This is where we were able to step in and assist.
